This policy explains what personal data Hilal and Partners collects through this website, why we collect it, and what you can ask us to do with it. We handle personal data in line with Indonesia's Personal Data Protection Law (Law No. 27 of 2022).

What we collect

You can read this website without giving us any personal data. We collect personal data only when you subscribe to our newsletter:

• your email address;
• your name, if you enter it;
• the language of the page you signed up on, so we write to you in that language;
• when you signed up, when you confirmed, and when you unsubscribed.

To deliver pages to you, our server receives your IP address and basic browser information, as every website does. We do not use them to identify you.

Cookies and tracking

The public pages of this website do not set cookies. We do not use analytics or advertising trackers. Our staff use a cookie only to stay signed in to the site's content management system. If this changes, we will update this policy before it does.

How we use your data

We use your email address and name only to send the newsletter you asked for: first an email asking you to confirm, then news about Hilal and Partners and its brands. We do not sell or rent your data, and we do not use it for any other purpose.

We process this data on the basis of your consent, which you give by confirming your subscription through the link in the confirmation email. You can withdraw it at any time.

Who can see your data

Only our website administrators. Each new signup is also reported to our company mailbox. The website and its database run on a server we rent from a hosting provider in Indonesia. Our emails, including the newsletter, are sent through the mail server of our email hosting provider, which may be located outside Indonesia. We do not share your data with anyone else unless the law requires us to.

How long we keep it

We keep your data while you are subscribed. When you unsubscribe, we keep your email address marked as unsubscribed so that we do not email you again; ask us if you want it removed completely. If you do not confirm your signup within 3 days, the confirmation link expires and your data is deleted automatically.

Your rights

You can ask us to:

• tell you what personal data we hold about you and give you a copy;
• correct it;
• delete it;
• stop processing it, including by withdrawing your consent.

Every newsletter email has an unsubscribe link. For any other request, email info@hilalpartners.co.id. We will respond within the time limits set by the Personal Data Protection Law.

How we protect it

The website is served over an encrypted connection (HTTPS), and only our administrators can open the subscriber list.

When we change this policy, we publish the new version on this page and update the date at the top.
